How You Should Avoid Overwriting the SEO Work After the Completion of Your Optimization Process?

After we have optimized your website please make sure you will not upload directly from your local computer to the server. This means if you want to edit the index.html file, for example, you have to first download this file from the server to your local computer and update it locally and then upload it to the server.

This is because the files you have on the server are optimized and contain our optimization codes and therefore are newer than the files you have on your local computer.

Now if you upload directly from your local computer to the server it means you have overwritten the new optimized index.html file by the old not-optimized one that you have had on your local computer.

Index.html is just an example and same thing goes for other files stored on your server and you should avoid them from being overwritten by the old files too. This has been simply illustrated in the image below.
