Google Vs. Bing – Google Always Wins

Lately, I’ve seen many tests performed to compare Google vs. Bing. After all, Microsoft claims Bing’s a better search engine. But to the contrary Google remains the strong winner of almost any kind of test or survey.

The latest “test” was performed by uTest, in which the contesters looked for “bugs” in all three major search engines. Google came out the cleanest and Bing with the most bugs.

Last month, CNet reported that Linux users prefer Google more than the other operating system users (Linux users are the smartest computer users after all – I’m not one of them though; I like my Mac Book Pro… ;-) …).

I also saw an interesting Web site developed by Microsoft’s Michael Kordahi called BlindSearch. The user can search for a querry and choose from three different columns the best set of Web sites pulled by each search engine. However, the search engines are not marked, so supposedly, loyalty doesn’t play a role. When you click the column you feel has the best set of links, then the search engine names appear.

I tried this and I wasn’t surprised when my “blind” choice was: Google.

Microsoft is trying so hard to compete with Google on the search front, but nearly 74% of the total Internet surfers, including me, remain loyal to Google for a simple fact:

Google is better.
