SEO Google

Since April, Bing.com has helped Microsoft increase its US based search market by 1% (to 7.81% of the total US search market).

At the same time, Google lost its market share by 0.5% (to 78.48%).

But JR Raphael argues in the latest NewsWeek article, Bing: Not Really Gaining on Google, that first, this shift is too small to be significant and second it could be a temporary shift.

I’m one of so many who went on Bing.com to see how it looks and what it’s capable of. At Sinai, we even test run some of our clients reports on Bing to see how our SEO works on Bing. The results just showed that Bing has been designed following Google’s many features. Even the search results were very similar to Google.

But I have to say that Bing’s nice backgrounds are thrilling. So, when I’m bored at my desk, I can go on Bing to see a nice photo. Or, wait, I can just google “beautiful nature” and see many nice photos.
